The wound is the place where light enters you.

Congratulate yourself for making this initial step to seek change within! Change is challenging, so take a moment to breathe. It is true that sometimes we become disconnected; from our work, our families, friends, and ourselves. We lose sight of meaning and purpose in our lives and struggle to maintain balance. It’s in our times of crisis that what we need most is to be heard and understood. I view individuals as inherently oriented toward growth and having a capacity for healing. As we become aware of the inner forces that guide our behaviors and feelings, we come to understand that we are free to live more creatively and authentically. We begin to connect with ourselves and others.

I have additional training as an Ecotherapist, which incorporates the healing power of nature into treatment. When and if appropriate, we may choose to utilize nature’s restorative properties, into our work together. Reconnecting with the natural world can often help us reconnect with ourselves.

I celebrate the importance of your unique story, your individuality, and your identity, regardless of your background. My own cultural background has provided me with a deep understanding around the complexity and necessity of finding “your place”. Together, let’s help establish your sense of place so that you can re-own your own vital, powerful energies and experience the world as a more connected being.
